The anticipated 2019/20 Only Sport Sunday East of Scotland Amateur Cup Final had finally arrived. A match against two strong teams in the Sunday amateur game in Harvester AFC and Donner Inn AFC, both sides coming inot this tie in good form and full of confidence. 

In what was a cold, misty night in Broxburn, the crowd watched full of enthusiasm around the sides of the impressive Albyn Park as both sides started off well with the intention of playing out from the back.

On the 9th minute it was Donner Inn who drew first blood, Lynn being the fastest to react at the back post from a cross driven low and hard from the right hand side.

13 minutes later, Harvester drew level with a nice flowing move across the field, resulting in a double save by Donner Inn's shot stopper, though was unable to deny Bett's right footed rebound in the 6 yard box. Game on in Broxburn.

After a free-kick awarded outside the Harvester box, McGown stepped up to take responsibility of getting his team back in front, and did just that with a powerful left footed strike that nearly took the net off.

The second 45 seen Donner Inn take control of the match. The passing and movement showed just why this side have, too, reached the 2019/20 Only Sport Sunday Trophy Final. 

With 15 minutes to go, The Inn had time for another well worked goal. A lovely ball from the right found Cameron's late run into the box, side-footing the ball home to all but seal the cup for his side.

The game played out but Donner were in the driving seat. The Referee blew his whistle to send the men in green and white in jubilation. The perfect Christmas present for the side after waiting just over a year and half to play the final.
