The first outstanding final from the 2019/20 season in the amateur football calander did not dissapoint the travelling supporters to Ochilview Park, for afternearly 19 months, Fallin AFC and Clackmannan Community AFC finally competed for the East of Scotland Cup trophy.

The match was set at a high pace from each side who came with the intention to win early on, though Fallin were looking the most dangerous of the two. And their pressure paid off when Kyle Hendry rose from a corner to head the men in blue in front ten minutes till half time.

Half-time came and went, and not long after Clackmannan's rocket of an effort from 25 yards out which rattled the bar and bounced off the line. The Clack players and faithful were adamant that a goal had been scored, though the match officials waved play on.

Both teams tired, but Mickey Weir then collected the ball 30 yards from goal, travelled five more before sending a superb curling finish past Community's number one's left side.

Clackmannan pulled one back with two minutes to go as the number 9 was fouled in the box. The resulting penalty set up a tense few seconds before the referee confirmed Fallin's cup victory.
