It is with great sadness we have to advise you that Morris Tonner passed away just before 9 o'clock this morning.

Morris was taken into hospital on Monday evening and the family where called for last night.

Morris as you know has been involved in Amateur Football for many years and has made a massive contribution to the Ayrshire AFA and the Scottish Amateur FA over this time.

He of course held many positions within both organisations including President of the Ayrshire AFA between 2002-2008 and more recently the Match Secretary of the West of Scotland Amateur Cup and he was also a Life Member of both Associations.

Morris will be greatly missed by a large number of people and I'm sure you will wish to join everyone at the Scottish Amateur FA in passing on our condolences to his family and close friends at this time.
