Bruce McNaught

It is with regret to announce that Bruce McNaught has decided to step down as Manager of the SAFA International Select side. Bruce has been Manager for 5 years and introduced a welcome freshness to the International set up and he and his backroom team covered many miles to watch players recommended to him. Many players were given the chance in the International set up and his net was cast wide to give the best amateur players all over Scotland the opportunity to represent their country.

The International Committee and indeed all at the SAFA will be ever grateful to Bruce for the hard work he has done over the 5 years he has been in charge and it was with reluctance that his resignation has been accepted. The International Committee wish Bruce all the best for the future.

The International Committee has appointed Bruce’s Assistant Manager Colin MacLeod as new Manager and he will be assisted by Steven Reynolds. Best wishes to the new team and the Committee are confident that Colin will build on the good work done by Bruce in the last 5 years.

Mr David Ramage
Chairman of the International Committee
